What accomplishment are you the most proud of?
Taking first in the Fruita Monument forensics debate tournament. I went into last speech and debate year having no idea what I was doing or how to do it, and by the fourth tournament I was able to take first in public forum debate. I still keep the medal in my room.
If you were the principal of your high school for a week, what would you do or change?
If it’s only for one week, I’d blow the school’s yearly budget to throw an awesome party. Like I’d rent all the slides, and all the bump and jumps and then
get super nice catering. Everyone would be excused from class and we’d just have a good time.
If you could have dinner with one person, living or dead, who would you choose and why?
I’d want to sit down with Robin Williams from back in his prime. For starters he’d be ridiculously entertaining and I love to laugh, but he was also
a deeply complicated man that I know could sit down and get personal with. Either way it’d be an experience I wish I could have.
If you could live anywhere or do anything for one year, what would you do and why?
I’d want to backpack across the world. I know that’s the most cliché thing but I love to travel and I think that an opportunity like that to adventure across the
planet would do more to help me transform into a better person than anything I can do from my desk.
What advice would you give to yourself as a freshman?
Let your friends close to your heart. Don’t stay distant from them, they’re good people, maybe the best you’ll ever know so hold onto and cherish them
for all the time you can.
