Favorite teacher and why: Mr. Gear, because he is always in a chipper mood.

Personal hero and why: My great grandfather, Hardy McPhail, because he was a war hero that always gave his all.

Preferred college: Colorado School of Mines/CMU

Dream job: Environmental geology

Highlight of your high school experience: Walking into school every day and having so many students and teachers excited to see you.

Q: What accomplishment are you the most proud of?
A: The connections I have made in high school that will lead to lifelong friendships.

Q: If you were the principal of your high school for a week, what would you do or change?
A: Change the quality of the food.

Q: If you could have dinner with one person, living or dead, who would you choose and why?
A: John Wayne, simply because I would become twice as masculine as I am now.

Q: If you could live anywhere or do anything for one year, what would you do and why?
A: I would live in Switzerland because the view on my porch would make my whole day.

Q: What advice would you give to yourself as a freshman?
A: Chill out, dude!
